Description
Green Hydnophora is a fascinating coral. Stumpy, vivid green tentacles carpet a thick, branching skeleton. These corals are also very active feeders. Surprisingly, they can handle large foods relative to their polyp size. Meaning, in addition to things like copepods, Hydnophora will manage meaty foods such as Mysis and brine shrimp.
Green Hydnophora are hardy SPS corals. They prefer to be in well lit areas and placed in strong currents. Hydnophora also require a lot of space, due to very potent sweeper tentacles.
