The Condylactis Anemone, also known as the Condy Anemone, is a colorful anemone found mainly in the Atlantic and Caribbean. The Condylactis Anemone has multiple color variations including a base of white or brown with green, pink, or purple tips. The Condylactis Anemone buries its base into sandy substrate. It requires strong light and should not be purchased without an adequate lighting system already in place. The Condylactis Anemone does not have a symbiotic relationship with clownfish, or any other fish for that matter, and must be handled with caution as its tentacles deliver a sharp sting to fish, hands, other anemones, and corals. The Condylactis Anemone will move around the tank to multiple spots and is best kept with live rock and crustaceans. Their diet should consist of shrimp, mussels, clams, and other like foods.
