Description
The Nassarius species is generally found near the coasts, relaxing in its burrow in sand or substrate. If turned upside down, the Nassarius species can turn itself downside down without needing any external assistance. Nassarius species has sharp olfactory sense and can smell food and act upon it as soon as its meal is available in the aquarium. Nassarius Snail does not disturb corals and therefore, you can safely keep the snail with corals. The Nassarius species originates from the Caribbean Sea, the Western Atlantic Ocean and the Eastern Pacific Ocean including Baja California. The Nassarius species occurs in cream, grey, tan and white colors.
